Case study · Jewelry · Sarasota, FL

Todd Alan: from roughly 3,000 followers to more than 1M across four platforms in three years.

A family-run Sarasota jewelry studio. We have filmed with Todd every week since September 2023, and the video everybody saw was the 314th one we published with him on YouTube.

  • Sept 2023 to Jul 2026
  • 484 YouTube videos in 144 weeks
  • Filmed every week

The situation

In September 2023, Todd Alan Gallery was a real workshop with almost no audience. Todd hand-braids wedding rings at his gallery in Sarasota. The people who owned one loved them. Almost nobody outside Sarasota had ever watched one being made.

Across every account the studio had roughly 3,000 followers: about 2,000 YouTube subscribers, about 1,000 followers on Facebook, 300 on Instagram, and no TikTok at all. There was no publishing habit. It was not a bad account. It was a quiet one, the way most good small businesses are quiet: the craft is excellent, and the craft is invisible.

The play

There was no campaign. There was a standing appointment.

Since September 2023 we have filmed with Todd every single week. He stands at the bench with the actual work in his hands and answers the question a customer asked him that morning. A band being woven. A stone under the loupe. Why one diamond costs what it costs and the one next to it does not. We shoot on site, cut it vertical, and publish to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

That is the entire mechanic: the founder on camera, teaching, on a fixed weekly cadence, across four platforms. Over 144 weeks the YouTube channel alone has taken 484 videos, about 3.4 a week.

What happened

On 1 September 2025 we published a 68-second video about diamonds. On TikTok it has 48.4M views, 93% of them delivered by the For You page, on $0 ad spend (as of 2 July 2026).

The same video is a collab post on Instagram, so our name sits on the post and the count is public: 20.8M views and 1M+ likes on that one 68-second reel, posted September 1, 2025 (counts as of August 2026).

That one video brought in 127,000+ new followers: TikTok +77.3K, Meta +35,625, YouTube +14,575 (as of July 2026).

The channel underneath it kept compounding. YouTube alone has 28.24M views, 1.25M likes and +85,154 subscribers under our management, September 2023 through July 2026 (YouTube Studio export). As of 25 July 2026, Metricool counted 959,741 followers across Instagram 448,403, Facebook 306,711 and TikTok 204,627. Add about 87K YouTube subscribers and the studio sits at roughly 1.05M.

The Business Observer profiled the story on 30 January 2026.

Why it worked

484 videos on YouTube in 144 weeks. The one that broke was number 314.

That is the number to sit with. Three hundred and thirteen videos came before it, and most of them did ordinary numbers. The viral video was not the cause of the growth. It was the output of a system that had already been running for two years: a filming day nobody cancelled, a founder who was easy on camera by the time it mattered, a back catalogue waiting for everyone who arrived, and four platforms already set up to catch them.

Consistency is the strategy. The viral video is the output. And it was not the last big one: a second reel from the same workshop has passed 1M views and a third sits at 666K, public counts as of August 2026.

So if you are waiting for the idea that will finally work, you are waiting for the wrong thing. Book the camera on the same day every week and keep the appointment. You do not get to choose which video breaks. You only get to be publishing when it does.

When we first began working together, our social media presence was very small, almost no followers and very little momentum. Since hiring Anastasia, we’ve grown to over one million followers… several of her videos have reached tens of millions of views and likes.
