Restaurant Social Media Marketing, Filmed in Your Kitchen

We film during real service, the pass, the plating, and the person behind the menu, coach you on camera, then edit and post short-form video on a schedule, from $799 a month. You run service. We run the feed.

The restaurant problem

Why Restaurants Win (or Lose) on Social Media

Food is one of the few things people will stop scrolling for on purpose. A burger hitting the flat-top, a sauce going into a hot pan. It is restaurant advertising people choose to watch.

So social media marketing for restaurants should be the easiest kind there is. Most restaurants still post a flyer for trivia night and a three-week-old photo of a special.

At 4pm your kitchen produces more content than most brands see in a quarter. The problem is that nobody on staff can hold a camera at 4pm, edit at midnight, or answer forty DMs on a Saturday. The people who could make the content are running service.

That is the gap, and it is the same for a 40-seat bistro, a fast casual counter, a three-location group, or a caterer. Close it and you are in the feed the day someone decides where to eat.

What you should get

What You Should Get From a Restaurant Marketing Agency

Plenty of restaurant marketing companies will sell you a content calendar and a stack of menu graphics. Here is what social media management for restaurants includes when the agency also holds the camera; tiers differ in volume and platforms, and the two add-ons are marked.

Food and Kitchen Videography, Shot on Location

We film in your kitchen and dining room during real service: prep, the pass, plating, the bar, the room when it fills. Shoot days run on your tier's cadence, and we photograph while we are there.

Short-Form Video: Reels, TikToks, Shorts

Every shoot day comes back as about 8 finished vertical videos, each cut for its platform: a hook in the first second, captions, sound, and pacing that holds.

Menu and Specials Content

New dish, seasonal menu, brunch launch, happy hour, the holiday prix fixe. We plan each shoot around what you need to sell next month, so the content lands while there is still a table to book. Carousel and image posts carry the rest of the calendar on your tier's cadence.

Posting and Stories

We post to two platforms on Essential and Growth (Instagram and Facebook for most restaurants) and four on VIRAL (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube), plus stories on your tier's cadence. TikTok can be added to the lower tiers for $250 a month.

Comment and DM Engagement (add-on)

Want the person asking “do you take reservations?” to hear back in time? Add it to any tier for $100 a month: we answer in your voice and route anything sensitive to you first. VIRAL includes ManyChat auto-DM, so a comment on a reel can trigger a message from your account.

Monthly Reporting

Once a month: views, reach, follower change, which videos performed and what drove it, and what we change because of it. No 40-slide deck.

How it works

How It Works for Restaurants

Four steps, built around service hours, not office hours. First posts go live about a week after you sign.

1. Taste and Strategy

The strategy call is a live brainstorming session: we break down what you have now, then build the plan around what you need more of. Weeknight covers, brunch, catering inquiries. Out of that comes platforms, formats, cadence, what each post is for.

2. Shoot Day in Your Kitchen

We film during a real service. The crew works around your line, not in it. On camera, we coach you or the chef: what to say about the dish, where to look, when to stop talking and cook. It is the same Sarasota video production we do for every client, adapted for a kitchen.

3. Edit and Approve

The batch lands in your approval queue, generally within two to three days and same-day when a special cannot wait; one round of revisions is included. Nothing goes live until you have seen it.

4. Post and Grow

We post on your tier's schedule and send the monthly report; with the engagement add-on we answer the comments and DMs as well.

On camera

We Film in Your Kitchen and Coach You on Camera

Scroll the other agencies on this search: menus, flyers, photos you could have taken on your phone. Now look for the ones who walk into a kitchen with a camera during service. It is a short list.

A shoot with us looks like this: we are in the corner of the line catching the smash, the sear, the plating, the pass, and between pushes we pull the chef aside for four minutes to talk through one dish. If the first take sounds like a hostage video, we laugh, reset, and go again.

The people who filmed it edit and post it, so nothing gets lost between “great footage” and “went live.”

You do not need to be good on camera. You need to know your food. The coaching is our job: bringing a shy chef out of his shell, or channeling the one with too much energy into four clean minutes on one plate. It is most of what separates a restaurant social media marketing agency from someone who just posts for you.

Restaurant Results: One Smash-Burger Reel, 715K+ Views

Lucky 8 is a New Orleans-inspired comfort food restaurant in Sarasota. We filmed a smash burger on their flat-top, cut it into a reel, and posted it as a collab on their account on January 11, 2026. As of August 2026 it has been watched more than 715,000 times. It is public, so you can go check.

Their food, filmed the way it is made, on the account their customers already follow. That is the whole method, and it is built to repeat.

Three years

From Roughly 3,000 Followers to 1M+ Across 4 Platforms in 3 Years

One reel is a good week. Here is what three years looks like.

Todd Alan Gallery is a Sarasota jeweler, not a restaurant, and that is the point. Same method: we film in his workshop, coach him through talking about what he knows, edit, post, repeat. When we started, the accounts had roughly three thousand followers across three platforms and no TikTok; in Todd’s own words, from his public Google review, “almost no followers and very little momentum.” Today they are past a million across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

A restaurant has more to film than a jewelry bench. Dishes change weekly, the room changes nightly, and there is a chef. The method that got him there is the one we bring into your kitchen.

Bring your menu. We will tell you which three dishes we would film first, and why.

Where we film

Restaurant Social Media Marketing in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Beyond

Our office is on Main Street in downtown Sarasota, which puts most of the kitchens we film within a half hour: St. Armands, Siesta Key, Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, Venice, and out to North Port. We already film in Lakewood Ranch for Tsunami Sushi at the downtown price; no travel surcharge anywhere in that area.

We are a small, all-local team. You can reach us anytime, and meetings are usually coffee at your restaurant, not a monthly Zoom with a rotating account manager overseas.

Restaurants are one slice of the social media marketing in Sarasota we do; the posting and reporting side is the same social media management in Sarasota our other clients get.

Bradenton and Palmetto restaurants: Bradenton social media marketing.

Outside the Gulf Coast, we work as a social media agency for restaurants and food and beverage brands on the editing and posting side. Ask on the call.

Restaurant FAQ

Restaurant Social Media Marketing FAQs

How much does restaurant social media marketing cost? +

We publish three tiers: Essential at $799 a month, Growth at $1,599, and VIRAL at $3,199. The price moves with shoot days, videos per week, and platforms; the full breakdown is on our social media management packages page. Have someone in-house who can post? The $997 one-time Social Media Consultation gives you the audit, a 90-day strategy, and the training to run it yourself.

What should a restaurant post on social media? +

Post mostly video of the food being made and the people making it: specials and new dishes, the room during service, the chef talking through one plate, staff, regulars. Lead with Reels and TikToks, use stories for day-of, and save graphics for last.

How often should a restaurant post? +

Post often enough to be in the feed on the day someone decides where to eat. Our tiers post one, two, or four videos a week plus carousels and stories, and one shoot day covers weeks of posts.

Which platforms matter most for restaurants? +

Instagram and TikTok are where the food gets watched. Facebook still matters locally, and YouTube Shorts comes free from the same edit. Then there is Google Business Profile: “dinner near me” gets decided there, so every reel is a reason to open your profile.

Can social media actually increase covers and reservations? +

A reel gets watched by people nearby, some tap through to your profile, and the profile sends them to your Google listing or your reservation link (OpenTable, Toast, whatever you run). A share of those book or walk in. We do not promise a cover count.

Do you work with restaurants outside Sarasota? +

Most of our restaurants are on Florida's Gulf Coast, because the kitchen shoot is the heart of it. Restaurants and food brands elsewhere work with us on the editing and posting side: you film on a phone, we send shot guidance, we edit and post. Multi-location groups here are fine: one strategy, one crew, shoots rotated across locations.

Do restaurants sign a long contract? +

The initial term is three months, then month to month; after that, either of us can end it with 30 days’ notice. You are billed monthly, in advance, by invoice, and there is no setup fee. A pause for a slow season or a vacation works the same way: give us 30 days’ notice and we start again when you are ready.

Do we own the videos and photos you shoot? +

You do. Everything we make during the partnership is yours to keep and use wherever you like. We may show the work in our case studies unless you ask us not to.
